Having learned what does and does not function well, our Staff collaborated with industry designers to create outdoor clothing that simply does the job better than most gear we have used. This jacket was made with materials designed to repel the elements, maintain warmth, be comfortable and as indestructible as possible. Mountain Hardwear®️ Liner Gloves
These silk-like thin liner gloves practically double the warmth of any gloves by providing a heat barrier and retention system to maintain hand insulation. Maui Natural Organics®️ Sunscreen SPF30
According to several unbiased scientific studies of +1700 products (see our Sunscreen article under the Learning Aids heading) this is one of the best sunscreens on the market today. It is manufactured in Hawaii without harmful ingredients, gives the honest level of protection it claims, and surpasses more than 95% of all sun protection products on the market today. We use it on treks, Himalayan high altitude climbs, on all mountaineering activities, and everywhere true sun protection is required. It is simply the best and will keep your skin from looking like a yak’s when you are 50 (unless you already do). Environmentally safe and will not damage coral reefs.

RENTAL EQUIPMENT
We offer complete rental equipment packages to assure that you are using the best equipment, properly prepared and maintained. We deliver the equipment to you on the day of your activity and take it back at the end of your outing, saving you two trips to stores to rent and return gear. We guarantee your rental gear to be in proper working order, appropriate to the activity, fitted and adjusted correctly. Reservations for equipment packages must be made by email only, and all reservations are binding.
Glacier/Mountaineering Equipment: We do not offer individual items of climbing equipment (except boots), only entire packages. Package includes: UIAA climbing helmet, ice axe, harness prepared with all necessary gear, crampons equipped with antibotts and fitted to your boots, and technical mountaineering boots. Cost: €55/day. Technical mountain boots alone rent for €20/day.
Rock Climbing Equipment: Includes special rock climbing shoes, harness prepared with all necessary gear, UIAA climbing helmet. Cost: €25/day
